The AIM M4 S-System is very similar to Tokyo Marui’s popular M4 S-System AEG, with the exception that the AIM model has largely metal construction. The metal parts include the rifles body, outer barrel, flash hider, RIS top rail, upper S.I.R mounting system body, magazine, front and rear folding sights, side and lower RIS rails, sling mounts, the controls and the stock tube. The high quality ABS parts are the outer stock including the stock butt, the grip and the lower removable S.I.R mounting system body. The last item, the ABS lower body of the S.I.R system allows easy and quick access when removed to the battery compartment, which uses a small male Kyosho type connector, a very popular and widely used type. The lack of unrealistic markings on this AEG, especially the body is very welcome and gives the AEG a sleek but realistic look.

The most prominent and important feature of this replica is the S.I.R mounting system. The S.I.R (Selective Integrated System) allows easy attachment of any number of devices on any part of the weapon giving this replica a truly modular design.
