The HFC T77 is an impressive and unique fully automatic capable gas blow back replica of the larger but less well known T77, based on the very famous MAC-11. This replica is one of only a few gas blow back SMGs that are produced in full metal, including a full metal frame, stock, magazine well, magazine and controls. There are in fact very few components that are not metal, this makes a very realistic and solid feeling replica. With its full metal construction it has an impressive weight of over 2.2kg with an empty magazine, this means it feels very realistic and very solid. The non-metal parts are the dust cover along with the forward hand guard, the contoured grip added to the rear of the magazine well and the butt plate on the end of the metal folding stock. The last three of these all give additional grip and comfort over bare metal and therefore are welcome and realistic additions. The HFC T77 is powered by standard Airsoft gas and can accept Green Gas right out of the box. The blow back action and performance are very impressive even on 134a, but this is especially true when using the more powerful Green Gas and the firing action is much like that of the real M11 based SMG. Using the small circle like cocking handle on the top of the T77 the first round is chambered by simply pulling this back and releasing. During firing the bolt and cocking handle move backwards and forwards opening the breach cover and chambering each round automatically, the handle also locks back when the magazine is empty, offering a very realistic firing action. M11 based firearms are well known for their high rate of fire and this replica features an impressive firing rate of its own to help live up to this reputation, emptying a 40 round magazine in under 3 seconds! The fire selector switch does however offer both semi automatic and fully automatic firing modes.

The metal cocking handle also works as a secondary safety device, when in the uncocked position you simply turn the cocking handle 90 degrees, this locks the cocking handle and bolt in position so the replica cannot be fired. The primary safety is located near the trigger guard, this particular safety is a normal trigger safety which stops the trigger being pulled and can be used very easily with your trigger finger. This is very useful as the replica can be carried cocked and locked with a round chambered and the safety on, which allows for quick firing if required and this also helps as the gun does not have to be manually cocked before firing can commence.

Just like the real T77 this replica features a sturdy folding metal stock, this gives the compact T77 a fixed stock if required. When it is not required the butt at the end of the folded stock doubles as a vertical grip, improving your control in close quarters! This replica also features a reliable and adjustable hop-up which gives improves accuracy and can be adjusted using the supplied allen key. The long thin full metal magazine supplied with the T77 is designed to hold 40 BB’s in a dual stack arrangement, when inserted this gives this SMG an even better weight and feel.
